Stories Types You Can Create With Instagram

There are many different options to choose from when capturing new content in the Instagram Story creator.

You can see them by scrolling to the left and right at the bottom of the screen:

#1: Type

This setting provides a colourful background for your words to shine.

Modify the colour by touching the icon in the bottom-left of the screen, and then choose a font style by pressing the icon at the top.

#2: Music

This setting allows you to record a video to a selective music track, or add music with an image. To begin, search for the song you’d like to include in your Story and choose it.

You’ll then be ready to scroll to the spot in the song that you’d like the music to start.

When you’re able, tap the musical tones icon to capture a photo, or tap-and-hold to record a video to the music.

#3: Live

It’s how you go live on Instagram. Simply click “Start Live Video,” and inform your followers that you’re live on Instagram!

Keep in mind that your video will pass from the app once it’s ended, except you save it to your camera roll.

#4: Normal

It’s the setting initially displayed when you open the Story creator.

You can use Normal to take a photo, record a video, or upload content from your camera roll, as explained before.

#5: Boomerang

The Boomerang setting takes a burst of photos which loop over and over to produce an animation.

Tap the main icon once, and you’ll view the screen display as the photos are taken in quick series. While this happens, make a short journey, such as winking to the camera or taking a step forward.

If you really like this feature, Instagram has opened Boomerang App you can manage to generate Boomerang animations to share on other platforms.
